Large Acute Care Hospital – California
A large, nationally recognized acute care hospital in California is confidentially seeking a Director of Medical Staff Services to lead its Medical Staff Office and oversee all credentialing and re-credentialing operations.
Requirements:
- CPCS or CPMSM certification required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years medical staff experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, Title 22, CMS, and HIPAA standards
- Echo software experience a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all Medical Staff Office functions, credentialing, and Peer Review activities
- Maintain Medical Staff Bylaws, files, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Serve as liaison between Medical Staff leadership, physicians, and hospital administration
