A Critical Access Hospital in the Pacific Northwest has engaged Reid & Associates to identify an experienced Interim Director of Quality during a planned leadership transition.
This is a true interim role focused on stabilizing and strengthening Quality, Risk, and Infection Prevention while guiding leadership through CMS quality reporting and future performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Quality & Performance Improvement, Risk, and Infection Prevention

Assess current quality performance and reporting processes

Support leadership education on CMS quality methodology (including Star Ratings)

Mentor staff and provide steady interim leadership
Ideal Background

Hospital quality leadership experience (CAH preferred)

Oversight of Quality, Risk, and Infection Prevention

CMS regulatory and quality reporting knowledge

RN preferred (compact state advantage); strong non-RN leaders considered
