Responsibilities
- Responsible for the oversight of the Infusion Service Line which includes staff, operations and delivery of care
- Works collaboratively across all disciplines to provide operationally sound processes and procedures
- Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of medications, IV fluids, infusion pumps, and other equipment necessary for infusion therapy
- Develop and manage the infusion department budget, including revenue projections, expense forecasting, and cost containment strategies
- Develop and update policies and procedures related to infusion therapy
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and software systems to streamline infusion processes, enhance documentation accuracy, and improve communication within the department and across the hospital
Qualifications
- BSN, Masters preferred
- Chemotherapy certified, OCN preferred
- RN license
- BLS, ACLS
