Manager Surgical Services

 

About the Position:   This is a fast paced Surgical Services department part of a growing hospital and healthcare system. Level 1 Trauma with state of the art services for Adults and Peds. This large Surgical Services department has 20+ Operating Rooms and averages more than 21,000 procedures annual.

They are currently undergoing a $210-million-dollar replacement and expansion. This is an opportunity for a visionary leader to help define and develop this OR from a clean slate. The Manager will be assisted by a strong support staff including a Assistant Nurse Manager, service specialty coordinators, full time educator and charge nurses.

Requirements: An academic degree in nursing is required (BSN or MSN/MN) A Master’s degree or higher is required. Internal or external candidates may be considered with verification of a master’s degree in progress.

Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical nursing leadership role required. Demonstrated growth in leadership responsibilities and breadth desired.

 

Experience relating to Operating Room specialty area strongly preferred.

 

CNOR preferred; Oregon RN license or eligible to obtain.
