Responsibilities
- Responsible for the strategic oversight and day-to-day operations in the department
- Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all nursing, administrative, and related technical activities to ensure care of all patients
- Demonstrates professional practice and behavior, being competent in all areas under their direction, and actively supporting the mission, vision, and values of the organization
- Must be involved in community events, and inspire staff to participate
Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Graduate from a Board approved nursing program with current licensure as a registered nurse in the state
- 5 years recent obstetrical clinical experience
- At least 3 years of management/leadership experience
- Current BLS and NRP training; fetal monitoring certification
- ACLS
