Reid & Associates is conducting a confidential search for an Interim Sub-Acute Director at a respected acute care hospital in Southern California.
This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced RN leader ready to step in, stabilize operations, and drive quality outcomes during an important period of transition.
The Role:
• Direct the provision of nursing care across the sub-acute unit while maintaining standards of patient care
• Oversee nursing staff operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Partner with medical staff, department heads, and administrators on nursing strategy
• Conduct staff scheduling, performance reviews, and day-to-day leadership
• Interpret and implement nursing policies and objectives across the department
What We're Looking For:
• Active RN license (compact state accepted)
• BSN required; MSN, MBA, or MHA preferred
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience and 2 years of leadership experience
• Sub-acute, long-term acute care, or skilled nursing leadership experience strongly preferred
• BLS required
This is a W2 interim placement. Housing and travel allowance provided for candidates coming from outside the area.
